Witches' herbs and magic potions
Hands-on herb tours on various topics and for different target groups with the herb witch Susa at the gates of the historic town of Burgsteinfurt:

a) Children's tour
Equipped with great witch names, we go on a herb discovery tour. On the way, we encounter tree and shrub species with healing powers and look for various helpful herbs such as snake's tongue and goat's foot. Back in the city, we listen to a hands-on witch story in the witches' garden and finish by making herbal cushions or scented sachets. Children learn the basics of herbal witchcraft - guaranteed safe and without side effects...

b) Herbs that heal and taste good
Which "magic herb" helps with nosebleeds or coughs, what helps quickly against mosquito bites and what is green nine? The herb witch knows the answer. She explains what people used certain herbs for in the Middle Ages and what wild herbs can still be used for today. Memory verses and sayings about the individual herbs help with memorization. At the end, participants can make their own herbal cushions or sachets.

c) Herbs for love, lust and pregnancy
How do I recognize my lover with the help of herbs, how can I attract him, what promotes potency or prevents pregnancy? In the Middle Ages, herbs used to help with love, lust and pregnancy were well known. Today they are often forgotten. Only the names, e.g. Ständelwurz or Frauenmantel, still suggest their use. A little refresher certainly can't hurt! At the end of the course, participants can make their own herbal sachets with the appropriate love herbs.

d) Herbs for humans and dogs - a wild herb tour with a difference
On this special tour, herb witch Susa shows wild herbs that are suitable for dogs, explains how they can be used and gives important tips on collecting them. The focus is on native wild herbs that are easy to find and recognize. People with and without dogs who enjoy nature, wild herbs and their uses are very welcome, as many of the herbs can also be used by yourself. We take a break in the witches' garden and make a herbal cushion for dogs or humans.
Small activities for dogs make the walk varied for the participating four-legged friends too.
