A murderous woman, this wistful mother Anna Krechting, who takes you on a tour of the town.

Welcomed by her in her historical costume, you find yourself in a time around 400 years ago and accompany her from house to house. She knows them all, indeed, she knows them better than anyone else in the town, because the citizens tell her their worries and hardships. But today Anna Krechting is not secretive, she shares them with you as you walk through Burgsteinfurt with this unique midwife.

While she shows you the mighty and fortified castle, the corn clerk's house, the simple farm houses and the magnificent stone houses of the count's officials, you will learn interesting details, anecdotes and true stories from this period. Why did some people have to build their houses with crooked beams, what was it like with the persecution of witches, the beating students and what does a wistful mother actually earn? You'll find out and also taste the contents of Krechting's herb basket...
