The Steinfurter Bagno is the oldest publicly accessible leisure park in Europe. In the 18th century, a unique park landscape was created here, inspired by French and English models. With its amusement parks, temples, canals and ornate gardens, the grounds were an important place for entertainment, culture and social gatherings. The centerpiece of the ensemble is the concert gallery from 1774, an architectural jewel in the rococo style. After a period of decay, the area was restored and revitalized as a cultural and historical highlight.
