This exhibition presents a cross-section of Bernd Pöppelmann's paintings, a tribute to the 80th birthday of an artist who observes his surroundings, people, animals and nature with great sensitivity and depicts them realistically and critically. His works are not depictions, but living encounters. His art goes far beyond the naturalistic. The pictures are always a commentary on the relationship between man and nature. They show us the preciousness and complexity of nature and also the threat posed by our actions. Bernd Pöppelmann has found international recognition with his paintings. His paintings hang in galleries, museums and private collections all over the world. He has set standards as a book illustrator.

We exchange views on current topics in an open and lively dialogue.

"Our home - our beer" - the Rolinck brewery still embodies this motto today, more than 200 years after it was founded. The flavoursome, fresh, off-dry beer stands for high and unmistakable quality as well as for Westphalian solidarity with the land and its people. To our beautiful Münsterland!

Rolinck has been part of the Krombacher family since 2007. Since then, further tasks such as speciality bottling have been taken over at the Steinfurt site. Find out more about our traditional brewery and taste a wide variety of drinks and beer specialities. Small snacks will be served.

We sing together - songs that you all know or songs that you can easily learn.

Anyone can join in - no knowledge of sheet music or singing experience is required. The lyrics of the songs are projected onto a screen, the melodies are practised together and the aim is simply to have fun singing together.

The group singing will be led by experienced join-in musicians Sigrun Knoche and Joachim Hetscher from the songwriting duo Cuppatea. They will give you an introduction to the folk and pop songs, accompany you musically and tell you something about the background to the songs.

KulturLandDumte introduces itself - for citizens and neighbours: Planning for 2026 and beyond. Who are we? What are our plans? Who can get involved?

KulturLandDumte is a meeting place for agriculture, cultural workers, neighbours and many more people! Where are we right now? Where are we going? At "Unter Bäumen e.V." we are trying to fill this KulturLandDumte with life and bring more cultural events to Steinfurt.

The chairpersons of the association, Inga Große-Kleimann and Thomas Middelanis, will present an interim status and would like to enter into dialogue with you.

This event invites all interested parties from Dumte and the surrounding area to find out more, have their say and give us ideas for the development of the village. There will be a section for information, a section for concrete next steps as well as snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for informal discussions.
