Rolinck has been part of the Krombacher family since 2007. Since then, further tasks such as speciality bottling have been taken over at the Steinfurt site. Find out more about our traditional brewery and taste a wide variety of drinks and beer specialities. Small snacks will be served.

The most important ornamental shrubs are presented on a tour of the district educational garden. The optimum pruning method is explained very clearly directly on the shrubs.

This exhibition presents a cross-section of Bernd Pöppelmann's paintings, a tribute to the 80th birthday of an artist who observes his surroundings, people, animals and nature with great sensitivity and depicts them realistically and critically. His works are not depictions, but living encounters. His art goes far beyond the naturalistic. The pictures are always a commentary on the relationship between man and nature. They show us the preciousness and complexity of nature and also the threat posed by our actions. Bernd Pöppelmann has found international recognition with his paintings. His paintings hang in galleries, museums and private collections all over the world. He has set standards as a book illustrator.

Lecture at the Kötterhaus:

Meeting the challenges of climate change in an efficient, low-maintenance and water-saving way. In this very vividly illustrated lecture, there are many tips for relaxed gardening at home.

The band "Irish Quarter" has been delighting audiences with rousing traditional Irish folk for over 10 years. Their repertoire ranges from lively dance pieces to atmospheric songs. Well-known classics such as "Molly Malone" or "Dirty Old Town" are not to be missed. The real "Irish Quarter" is Michael Hughes, originally from Belfast, but has lived in Rheine for many years. He has been bringing Irish music to the people since his youth and leads through the programme with humour and interesting details. With Andreas Lisse on bodhran, mandolin and banjo, Richard Kreimeier (accordion and vocals) and Christian Pries on guitar and vocals, the quartet brings joy and musical passion to the stage.
