Erich Kästner not only wrote children's books, but was also a critical observer in difficult times. This thoughtful, sarcastic and humorous poet will be the focus of the evening. His texts leave us smiling, sometimes amused, sometimes astonished, sometimes shocked. The texts are topical, even half a century after Kästner's death. He was one of the first authors whose books were burnt by the National Socialists.
