The association WieWollenWirLeben e. V. and the Protestant parish of Steinfurt invite you to a repair café at the Protestant parish centre in Burgsteinfurt, Flintenstraße 9, on two dates a month, once on Monday afternoons and once on Saturday afternoons.

Together, we promote sustainability, environmental awareness and exchange within the community. Visitors can have their broken, portable items repaired and chat over coffee and tea. The Repair Café is an opportunity to conserve resources and make new contacts.

The One World Shop is open during this time and offers various tastings.

Expert volunteers are on hand to repair broken appliances such as toasters, blenders or hoovers - completely free of charge and without prior appointment. So if you have an appliance that seems too expensive to repair, you should take the opportunity to bring it to the RepairCafe.

The guided tour of the district educational garden provides exciting insights and lots of information for a species-rich garden design. Living areas such as ponds, dry stone walls and herbaceous beds can also be easily realised in the home garden. During the two-hour tour, many practical tips are provided in an easy-to-understand way based on the garden design in the district educational garden.

Imparting gardening knowledge is more important than ever. With the reorientation of the Steinfurt Garden Days, garden beginners, young adults, new garden owners and balcony gardeners are also to be invited to attend the traditional garden seminar in the district educational garden. This year, an exciting programme has once again been put together with a focus on natural gardens and water in the garden. The lectures can also be booked by the day or individually. A new feature is that we are offering evening lectures on two days in order to attract even more working day visitors from the region to the Kreislehrgarten. The social get-together for participants will therefore take place on Wednesday as part of the excursion in the NaturaGart Park in Ibbenbüren.
